Almazaras de la Subbética can be defined as something more than just a family business. In fact, it is a business made up of 4000 families who live by and for olive groves. It was founded as such in 2007, as the result of a merger between two companies: S.C.A. Virgen del Castillo (Carcabuey) and S.C.A. Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno (Priego de Córdoba), both of which go back to the 1950s and 1960s, respectively.

Almazaras de la Subbética has two offices. The first, located in Carcabuey, is where we can find the main office, as well as the biggest olive mill, the livestock, quince and design departments and the bottler. In the other office, in Priego de Córdoba, we can find the second olive mill.

Almazaras de la Subbética is located in the middle of the natural park of Sierras Subbéticas, in the most beautiful scenery, surrounded by nature a breathtaking sea of olive trees.
